Outfit Of The Day - Pop Of Pink

Hey Gorgeous Ladies...

I have come again with a fashion post ;). I was going for lunch with my sisters. I chose a black and white outfit to wear for that. I am a fan of colours. I prefer wearing bright and colourful clothes over monochrome look, especially when I come to India. So, rather than going for full monochrome, I decided to add some pop of pink to that outfit/look. And the result was...

I wore a plain white, half sleeved, collared shirt with high-waisted black and white floral midi skirt. To add pop of pink to it, I styled it with Pink heels and did not go for black one. I took baby pink coloured sling purse.

On lips, I applied a bright pink coloured lipstick to brighten up my face. I also wore a pink and golden neck piece to complete the look.

Meet my friend Sher Khan :D

My Sister Did My Make-Up

Hey Lovelies...

If you watch make-up related youtube videos, you must be knowing about the one with the title  "My ____ does my make-up''. Now, in that blank, it might be husband, boyfriend, mom, dad, sister, brother, etc. So, I thought, why not I also try something like that for my blog. I have an elder sister ANKITA and I love the way she does her make-up. She does not use much products (which you will see in this post), still manages to get a fresh glowy look. If you want to know how she did my make-up , then keep on reading :).

STEP 1 - First, she applied Biotique Bio Morning Nector all over my face as a mositurizer.

STEP 2 - Then she used Lakme Absolute White Intense Skin Cover SPF 25 Foundation in the shade 01 and applied it all over my face using her fingers.

STEP 3 - She concealed my under eye area using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Medium 2 Ginger. She blended it well by patting the concealer using her ring finger. She applied a little bit of the concealer on bridge of my nose and centre of my chin.

STEP 4 - For eyes, she first applied a light shimmery pink eye shadow all over my eye lids and then lined my upper lash line with Maybelline The Colossal Liner in the colour Black. On my waterline, she used Estee Lauder Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner in the shade 01 Blackened Black. To complete the eye make-up, she applied MAC Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash mascara on my upper as well as lower lashes.

STEP 5 - Next, she applied Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in the shade Peachy Sweetie just on the apple of my cheeks.

STEP 6 - For my lips, she first applied Maybelline Super Stay 14 HR Lipstick in the shade Stay With Me Coral 430 and on top of that, she used MAC Crosswires Lipstick.

And with this, the look is complete.

I really loved the final outcome. My skin looked flawless, fresh and glowy and the best part is that she did not use a lot of products. You can achieve this look in just 10 minutes :).
Hope you enjoyed this post. See you all in my next post :*

Hey Everyone...

I AM IN INDIA. Yayyy! It's really easy to do fashion posts here as I have got a lot of photographers here ;). So, after a long time, I am posting this one.

I was going at my In-Laws' place for dinner after coming back to India. I wanted to look stylish as well as decent. So, I chose to wear normal top and jeans but to add that Oomph factor, I styled it with a long shrug in net material, statement necklace and heels.

I really like the flower pattern of this shrug.

MAC Matte Lipstick - Meher Review

Hello Ladies...

I realized that I haven't done any review post for so long. So, today I thought of doing a review of my all time favorite lipstick. I am not sure if you guys know but I love matte lipsticks. I, anytime, prefer them over the glossy or moist ones. This one is a semi-matte pinky-nude lipstick which is great for everyday wear and perfect for Indian skin tone. It's MAC Matte Lipstick in the shade Meher.

PACKAGING

The lipstick comes in black and silver colored bullet packaging, which is the standard color and shape of most of the MAC lipsticks. The logo MAC is written on the cap of the bullet as well as on the inside part when you open up the cap.

I love the way the cap opens up and closes as if there is some magnet in it. I really like the fact that they give you the lipstick in a cardboard kind of box and not just like that.

PRICE

INR 1450/-
AUD 36/- for 3g of product

AVAILABILITY

At MAC Stores, MAC counters and online

MY VIEWS ON MAC MATE LIPSTICK - MEHER

Starting with the color, it is a beautiful nude kind of color with pink undertones. The color is not a usual pink, it is a earthy pink color which is not too dark and not too light.

The lipstick is very pigmented and lasts for good 5-6 hours including meals. It does transfer a little but not crazily. The texture is not drying matte. It is more of a creamy matte when you first apply it and after some time it becomes semi-matte which is really nice as it does not over dry your lips. The only thing I don' like about it is that it settles in the fine lines. So, it will be good if you moisturize your lips a little before applying it to get the perfect texture out of it. Summer or winter, day or night, casual or formal, this lipstick looks just perfect, anytime. I really like its fragrance which is something like vanilla but not overpowering. Yes, it is on expensive side but some products are worth the money.

PROS

Great Packaging
Beautiful pinky-nude color, perfect for Indian skin tones
Long staying power, 5-6 hours approx.
Perfect for any time, season, look or occasion
Does not dry the lips
Easily available
Highly pigmented
Sweet vanilla kin of fragrance, not overpowering

CONS

Is on the expensive side
Settles in fine lines, if lips are not moisturized

OVERALL VIEW

I think, it can be a great nude lipstick for Indian/brown skin toned beauties with semi matte finish and long staying power. It IS on the expensive side but atleast try it out on a MAC store or counter. I highly recommend this shade.

RATING
4.85/5

I hope, this post was helpful to you guys. Tell me your favorite nude lipstick in the comment section below. See you guys in my next post. Till then, take care.

1st April Beauty Haul

Hey Lovelies

It's April 2016. Wasn't it Christmas, like last month only? Time really flies. Anyways, we have to keep our pace with the time and also, enjoy our lives.
I had been keeping myself away from shopping for last 1 month because I wanted to buy some good make-up stuff for myself. And I finally bought that today. Not all, but some of it. In this post, I will share my make-up haul and some other stuff that I bought today.

1. MAC PREP + PRIME FIX PLUS

AUD  27 /-
INR 1500/- for 100 ml

I had heard about this product for a quite long time now but did not know that it is the 'must have' product from MAC. So, I had to buy it. I have heard that it gives a beautiful glowy and smooth finish to the make-up. Can't wait to try it.

2. MAC PRO LONGWEAR CONCEALER - NC 35

AUD 32/-
INR 1900/- for 9 ml

Finally got my hands on this famous concealer from MAC. Let's see how it turns out on my face.

3. ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR STAY-IN-PLACE MAKEUP - 3W1 TAWNY

AUD 50/-
INR 3000/- for 30 ml

Wanted to try this foundation for so long. I think I have got some real good stuff to do review on.

4. NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAMS

AUD 12.95/- for 8 ml
INR - Not so sure. The prices are different at different sites
Starting price is 750/- I guess

I bought 2 shades from this range. 1 is Stockholm which is a beautiful nude color that suits Indian skin tone. The other is Amsterdam which is a pinky-red color. I had this color before but I misplaced it. This is a very wearable red color. I did my 1st post on this lip cream only. You can check it here

5. GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER

AUD 5.99/-
Not available in India

I saw it for the 1st time today only at the store. No idea how it will turn out to be. Just liked its formula which is water based and even good for sensitive skin.

6. REXONA INVISIBLE DRY DEODORANT

AUD 7.17/- for 250 ml
Not sure if it's available in India

Was out of deo so thought to try this one. It's a 48 hours antiperspirant, anti white marks, yellow stains and sweat. Smells really good.

7. VEET WAX STRIPS for NORMAL SKIN with SHEA BUTTER and BERRY FRAGRANCE

AUD 16.89 for 40 strips
INR 170/- for 20 strips, not sure if it's exactly same as in Aus

I love these wax strips. I think those available in India are not so good. I haven't tried those but these are just amazing. Give salon like waxing results.

The last thing that I bought today is not a beauty product, still I want to share it with you guys because I love it sooooo much. It's a beautiful floral print clutch from BETTS. I was looking for a clutch like this from a very long time and this is just perfect. It has a long-sleek golden colored chain which makes it really elegant.

AUD 19.99/-

And with this, my shopping haul is over. Hope you enjoyed it. If you want a review on any of these products, do let me know in the comment section below. See you guys in my next post.
