L'Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation Review - My Current Favorite

Hey Lovelies

Today. I am reviewing my current favorite foundation. It's my everyday go foundation. I just love it. I got my hands on it a month ago and I stopped using any other base on my skin since then. I bought this foundation here in Australia in the shade Radiant Beige. The shades of this foundation and their names are different here from those in India. So, you may not find this exact shade there but still, the shade range is quite good in India also. Now, let me tell you its goodness in detail 😄.

PACKAGING - It comes in a transparent glass bottle with a black plastic pump dispenser. The cap of this foundation is of red color which is also plastic. I really like the packaging for two reasons - 1. With transparent bottle, you can easily see how much product is left, 2. The pump dispenser really makes it easy to control the amount of product that comes out of the bottle.
For travel purpose, I would say that it is not handy-dandy kind of packaging but still, if you are carrying a big handbag then you can carry it

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOUNDATION -
This is currently my favorite foundation. I just love it. I use it as a daily wear foundation as well as party foundation. It gives medium coverage with one coat which you can build up to full coverage by coating another layer of it. I never kept it for 24 hours on my face 😋, so can't say about that long staying power. But yes, it stays fresh for 6-8 hours easily, depending on your skin type. This foundation is for dry to normal skin people. It's a liquid foundation but not runny. For oily skin beauties, there is Pro-Matte foundation from this range. This foundation gives a beautiful glow to the skin. It gives dewy look. I have dry skin and I love the freshness it gives to my skin. Also, I love dewy finish on my face and that's why, this foundation is just perfect for me. It blends with the skin so easily and doesn't look made up. I really like its staying power. I applied it for 8 hours and didn't feel like retouching/resetting it with compact powder. The best thing about this foundation, which makes it perfect for daily wear is, that it is very light-weight. Your skin feels really soft and light.

Coming to its claims, I would say, it fulfills all except the 'No Visible-Shine' one. You can see the shine on your face after a few hours, even if you have applied face powder. But, personally, I like that shine as it gives dewy look which I love.
I think I have covered all the points and I cannot tell even a single negative thing. This makes me happy 😊

PROS -

  • Nice and sturdy packaging
  • Pump dispenser makes it hygienic
  • Easily available
  • Affordable
  • Long Staying power, 7-8 hours
  • Medium to full coverage
  • Gives healthy glow
  • Feels light on skin
  • Many shade range to choose from

CONS -
  • Those who don't like dewy finish may have to retouch with a face powder after 3-4 hours.
OVERALL VIEW - According to me, it's a perfect foundation for dry skinned beauties and those who love dewy finish on their face. Long lasting, medium to full coverage, healthy glow, what else do we need ;p.

RATING - 5/5

Bold Winged Eye Liner And Orchid Lips Make-Up Look

Hey Everyone

Today, I tried a bold make-up look. Usually, I go for either bold eyes-nude lips or subtle eyes-bold lips. But, this time I wanted to experiment with a new look and it came out really well. If you like this look, then keep on reading its breakdown.

Brushes I Used

PROCEDURE
1. First, I applied primer on my freshly cleansed and moisturized face. Then, I used Mac studio finish concealer which acts as a corrector as it is peachy in shade. I applied it under my eyes and around my lips to cancel out the dark spots. I used Colorbar Blending brush in this step.

2. After that, I applied foundation all over my face. I used Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to blend out the foundation well.

3. Next, I used the Maybelline Concealer under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, center of my forehead, cupid's bow and chin to highlight these areas. Then, I used Mac studio fix under my eyes to stop that area from creasing.

4. Now comes the eye make-up part. I started by applying white colored eye shadow No.1 on my lids to get an even base. Then, from the estee lauder palette, I applied the berry color No.2 on the inner as well outer corners of my eyes. I damped the eye shadow brush before applying it to get the maximum color. After that, I applied lavender color No.3 on the center of my lids to get highlighted effect. Then, I first used a medium brown eye shadow No.4 on my crease area to blend everything and then, I used that same berry color No.2 on the crease and blended again.

5. Then, I applied a bold winged eyeliner and smudged it a little from the above.

6. Next. I applied black kajal/liner on my lower waterline and applied berry shade eye shadow No.2 on lower lash line using a smudge brush and smudged it well. I finished the eye make-up with a mascara which I applied on both my upper and lower lashes and used eyebrow pencil to fill in the brows.

7. For cheeks, I used peach and bronze colored blushes No.1 and No.2 from estee lauder blush palette. I also highlighted my cheek bones and brow bones using a champagne colored shadow No.1 from Chi Chi palette.

Blush

Highlighter

8. To complete the look, I used this beautiful orchid colored matte lip cream by Chi Chi.

And with this, the look is complete. It's more of a night time look because of the dark shades.
