Fun Filled Night - Fashion Post

Hello Lovelies...

Yesterday, I went to a party and had an amazing time there. The best part was the photo session ;). There were props and beautiful set up to click photographs. Today, I am going to share my outfit details and fun pictures with you all :).

I wore a blue maxi dress (which is looking purple in this light). It had golden embellishment on the neck area and a fabric belt with it.

I chose to go minimalist with the accessories. I styled the dress with a golden metallic clutch, beige heels, a watch and some diamonds (earrings, rings & bracelet) ;). I went for wavy curly hair look rather than the same straight hair look. I really liked the outcome.

See the background guys.....I loved it <3

And this set up also <3

WAYS TO USE THE PRODUCT

1. If your foundation feels dry on your face, spray Fix+ before applying that and it will help in spreading the foundation easily with a glow on your face.

3. You can spray it on your foundation brush and it will help in gliding the foundation on skin very smoothly.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT

I like to spray it at the end, after completing my makeup. It gives a beautiful, healthy glow to my skin and helps to smooth out the skin by setting the makeup. Fix+ is one of the best sellers of MAC. One bottle goes a long way, so it's worth the price. I will say that it is a must have from MAC cosmetics.  I love it sooooo much <3.

Who's That New Girl In Office - Fashion Post

Hey Gorgeous Ladies...

My last post was on office/work make-up (click here to check that out if you haven't). After publishing that post, I don't know why but I felt like that the top I was wearing and the hairdo I had done in that post was not doing much justice with my look. So, in this post, I will show you how to carry that look with style ;) and not looking oh so simple :p.

And everybody will say 'Who's that new girl in our office' ;)

For hairdo, I have done a top knot which is very simple to do and not time consuming, still look stylish. And that's what we want in the morning ;).

I opted for black and white attire as that's what came in my mind when I thought of doing office post. I am wearing a plain white full sleeves shirt with a long black bow attached to it. I love the neck shape of this top as it doesn't have a collar which makes it different from other formal shirts.

Instead of going for plain pant, I chose to wear this loose pant with vertical black lines. Vertical lines make your legs look longer also :).

This black, white & pink handbag is complimenting my attire and make-up so well and is a perfect size for a office going girl. This spectacle made the look more formal ;).

I am wearing black heels and white watch to match the outfit.

OUTFIT DETAILS

Shirt - Zara (India)
Pant - Zara (India)
Bag - Da Milano (India)
Heels - Novo (Aus)
Watch - Salvatore Ferragamo (A Gift)

Now I am satisfied with the whole look and my make-up :p. Hope you also like it as much as I do :). See you all soon ;). xoxo

Office/Work Make-Up Tutorial

Hey Lovelies...

Today, I am showing you three make-up looks for office/work which are simple and sophisticated. You can choose any look for yourself according to your choice or taste in make-up. There is not much difference in these looks. Everything is same except the eye looks. This post is a highly requested one. I don't know why I didn't do this post earlier. Anyway, I am doing it now for you all :*. If you are interested then keep on reading ;).

1. First of all, I applied Lakme Sun Expert SPF 24 PA ++ sunscreen lotion as we go to work in the day time and it is very important to protect our skin from harmful rays of sun. At the same time, I moisturized my lips using a lip balm. If your skin needs some more moisturization then apply your daily mositurizer after this. Else, go to the next step.

2. The next step is to hide the dark spots on your skin. The main motive of this look is to get a flawless skin. I have the problem of under eye dark circles. For that, I used MAC Mineralize Concealer in the shade NW35 under my eyes to cancel out the darkness in that area. I have used this concealer as a corrector at it has orange undertone to it.

In the picture above, only the area under left eye is concealed. See how much difference it has made in that area comparative to the right side. So, wherever you find the darkness or spots on your face, hide them with a corrector.
I have a full post on the color correctors. If you want to check that out click here

3. Then, I applied L'Oreal Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation in the shade 150 Radiant Beige all over my face in dotted manner.

And blended it well in patting motion with the help of Real Techniques Face Expert Brush. You can use your fingers or damp sponge also if you are comfortable in that. If you don't need much coverage, you can go for a bb/cc cream also or a tinted moisturizer.

4. To set the foundation, I applied MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in the shade NC25 all over my face using a face/powder brush very light handedly as I like a sheer glow on my face.

5. From my Estee Lauder Deluxe All-Over Face Compact, I applied powder bronzer on my cheeks to give them a sculpted look. Then, on top of that, I applied blush from this same palette in the shade Lover's Blush which is a peachy-brown color. It gave a healthy look to the face.

6. On my lips, I used NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Antwerp.

6. I wanted a clean look for this, so defining the brows was a very important step in it. I filled in my brows using Maybelline Master Brow Pro Palette in the color Deep Brown.

7. Coming to the eyes, I have given you guys 3 different choices. The first one is to apply just the mascara on your upper and lower lashes to give a neat look. No need to apply kajal or eyeliner. See the picture below :)

The second choice is to apply a winged eye liner and nothing on your waterline. I used Maybelline The Colossal Liner in Black. Add mascara on both your lashes. See the picture below :).

The third look is to apply a normal eyeliner on your upper lashline and add some mascara.

You can also do some changes in these looks according to your choice. Like, you can apply kajal on your waterline if you want to. The main thing is to get a neat and flawless look for work.

And with this, the tutorial is done :). I hope it helps you out with your make-up. This is very easy to do and doesn't take much time. See you guys soon in my next post. Till then, take care and enjoy :*

The Sunshine

Hey Everyone...

Hope you all are enjoying reading my blog :*. Today's post is neither a make-up tutorial nor a fashion post. Actually, I did a wedding make-up look yesterday with Contouring, Highlighting and this time Baking also ;). I really loved the way the whole look came out to be and I felt like sharing with you all. I am soon going to share with you all how I contour, highlight and bake my face. Some of these terms might be new for you but I will make you familiar with them really soon :). Till then, enjoy the pictures I am sharing here.

This is my mom's saree I am wearing. I have a soft corner for yellow coloured clothes and the moment I saw this gorgeous Silk Saree, I was like 'I have to wear it ' <3.

I hope you all liked this make-up look. I will try to introduce you all with contouring, highlighting and baking, the way I do, real soon. Till then, take care and enjoy this post :*.

The Black Beauty - Fashion Post

Hey Lovelies...

A plain black dress is a must have in every girl's wardrobe. Whether it's a little black dress, a skater dress, fitted one or a maxi dress, your wardrobe is incomplete without it. I think, you don't need much to add with a black dress. Still, I prefer to add up a little fun to my plain dresses/tops. In this post, I will show you all, how I styled my plain black dress :).

I have always bought flowy/skater/frock kind of dresses. This one is my first fitted dress and I love the way it looked on me <3.

As I said earlier, you don't need much with your black dress. I just went with a pearl neck piece, a floral clutch with black base, bracelet kind of watch, diamond bangles and nude-beige heels.

I wanted a glam look with this dress, so I chose to wear full make-up with contouring and highlighting. I did not want to go with the basic black dress and red lips combo, so I applied a neon pink lipstick instead ;).

My watch was in a little matching with my neck piece as both had pearls in them. That floral clutch added some colour to the look and matched my make-up also :D.

A closer look at my clutch :p

Some more pics :)

OUTFIT DETAILS
