Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Review

Hi Loves...

Usually, a girl's signature look in India includes a Kajal. But for me, it's a Mascara. No eyeliner, no kajal, no eyeshadow, I apply only mascara on my eyes on normal basis.
Today's post is about my favourite mascara that makes my lashes thick and long.

PACKAGING

The mascara tube comes in a pink cardboard packaging and the product comes in rose gold metal tube. I think, any girl can instantly fall in love with the packaging as it's beautiful and metallic rose gold :D and who doesn't like a pink packaging :p ?

PRICE

AU $33 for 8g of product
INR 2,680 on Flipkart
INR 1,898 on Amazon

AVAILABILITY

Mecca Maxima in Australia
Flipkart and Amazon in India

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE MASCARA

I accept that I was attracted towards this mascara and wanted to own it for its name :D. Also, I read so many good reviews about it, so really wanted to try this one out. At that time, I used to be an eyeliner person. I rarely used to apply a mascara. But after getting this mascara, I have become a Mascara Only person <3. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara makes my eye lashes voluminous and long. I feel like I am wearing fake eye lashes. You can easily see the difference in the pic below.

See, how long and thick lashes make a difference in your look. It also curls up my lashes. The brand is cruelty free. The mascara is gluten free, parabens free and vegan. This one is not waterproof but trust me, you can cry with this mascara on and it won't go anywhere :D (I mean in weddings). In starting, I used to get spider web kind of eye lashes after applying more than 2 coats. But once you get to know the product and get a hold onto the wand, you will definitely get beautiful eye lashes easily. It comes off easily with make up remover. Just be gentle while removing it and it takes a little time to fully come off. I know this mascara is quite expensive but I think it's worth it.
It comes in Waterproof version also but I opted for this one as, in my opinion, waterproof mascaras are difficult to remove and can break the eyelashes. But, if you have preference for waterproof mascaras, then Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara has that one also :).

PROS
*Beautiful and sturdy packaging
*Cruelty free, parabens free, gluten free and vegan
*Makes eye lashes curled up, thick and long
*Even inner corners of the lashes can be easily done
*Doesn't break the lashes while removing (be gentle)
*Long lasting
*Unique name :p

CONS
*Quite expensive for a mascara
*Not easily available in India
*Can make eye lashes like spider web (if not used properly)

OVERALL VIEW
I am in love with this mascara. From all the mascaras I have used till now, this one works the best for me. I will buy it again :). What more can I say about it? ;)

RATING
5/5

If you are planning to buy a new mascara and can spend some extra money on it, then you can give it a go. It's different than your regular mascaras :)

Let me know in the comment section below, how you feel about this post? Do you think it is worth it to spend more money on a mascara? do you already own this mascara or have you ever used it?
See you all in my next post <3

Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick Set Review

Hey Everyone...

Hope you all are doing well. Today's post is review of Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick Set which has four shades - Soft Pink, Kiss, Spice & Red Roses. All the shades are daily wear kind of colours. The brand is cruelty free and vegan which is a big thumbs up. Now, let's see how I feel about this set.

PACKAGING

Lipsticks come in a cardboard packaging. All the lipsticks are mini in size which in my opinion is a very cute and convenient packaging(as we don't really empty a lipstick). The lipstick tube is black and gold in colour and when we open its cap, it has the brand logo inside.

PRICE

I got it from beautybay.com for AU39.50

AVAILABILITY

You can buy it from the following sites -
www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com
www.beautybay.com
www.cultbeauty.com.uk
www.sephora.com

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE LIPSTICKS

All the lipsticks are matte in texture but are very comfortable on lips and do not dry them out. The shades are very wearable and apt for daily use. Staying power of these lipsticks are really good. They stayed on my lips for 6-7 hours and survived eating and drinking. Now let's talk about the shades individually.

SPICE - It's a nude colour with brown undertone. This shade will look good to all types of skin tones.

KISS - This one can be best described as MLBB (my lips but better) shade. A proper nude colour. This one can wash out dark skinned beauties. But proper makeup application can help them out :)

DEAD ROSES - This shade is a purple-brown one. My least favourite colour from this set but still I wear it sometimes :D

SOFT PINK - As the name suggests, it's a soft pink shade which suits best to fair to medium skin tone. For best results, have a nice base on your skin and then flaunt this colour.
It might wash you out without makeup, so try it with as well as without makeup to know how it suits you the best ;)

PROS

*Beautiful and elegant individual lipstick packaging
*Mini packaging is very convenient to carry
*You get 4 lip shades in this price range
*6-7 hours of staying power
*Matte texture that doesn't dry out lips
*Shades suit Indian skin tones
*Cruelty free and vegan

CONS

*Available online only, in India
* Not all colours in the set suit everyone

OVERALL VIEW

I really like these lipsticks. I think this pack is value for money. The sizes are small but you get to try 4 shades in the price of 1. Isn't it great? These are my go to lipsticks these days, specially the shades KISS and SPICE :)

RATING
4.8/5

I hope this review will help you in selecting your next lipstick ;). See you guys in my next post.

Flying While Pregnant - Helpful Tips

Hello Loves...

A very Happy And Prosperous New Year 2018 to you all and your families :). I hope the best for you guys :*

Today, I am going to share some tips with you all if you are pregnant and planning to fly sometime soon. I came to India this December and I was 24 weeks pregnant at that time. I was very scared to travel (was flying alone) and I think most pregnant ladies must be if they are travelling for the first time.
So, with my experience, I want to share some tips with you all, trying to help you guys to make the decision of flying according :).

So, let’s get started ;)

1. Consult your doctor
 Image Source1

This one is the foremost important step. Before planning your trip, just discuss with your doctor if your pregnancy is safe enough for you to fly. Even if you are going on a 2 hours flight. It is very important to consult your doctor as he/she knows the best about your health. Plan only if your doctor allows you to do so.

2. Check with the airline

After a certain time, some airlines do not allow pregnant women to travel in their planes. So, it’s better to check on their site or by giving them a call if you are allowed to travel according to their policies or not. Usually, airlines allow women to travel who are up to 27 weeks pregnant and some even allow up to 36 weeks. So, it all depends on the airline you are travelling with.

3. Carry your medical reports

Always carry your pregnancy reports with you wherever you go, even if it is just for 2 days. Specially, if you are flying, you might need to show your reports at the check in counter as sometimes they ask for it to check if your pregnancy weeks are within their policies.

4. Try to check-in online

If possible, check-in 48/24 hours before your flight. It allows you to choose your seat and meal. Also, there is a seperate lane for internet check- in passengers, so you don’t have to wait in long queue.

5. Aisle seat

Always like to fly with that beautiful view of clouds and oceans? Sorry to disappoint you but trust me, at this point you really need to go for an aisle seat. The reasons are - your bathroom visits (which you understand) and also you need to walk around time to time in the plane which I will discuss in the upcoming points.

6. Seat with leg space

If it is possible for you, book business class or premium economy class for flying as their seats are very comfortable and have a lot of leg space which will be very comfortable for you. If these seats are not possible for you, try to get the very front seats of the economy class. There are no seats in front of them so enough room for your legs to move. You can select that seat while doing online check-in (if available) or request it at the check-in counter. These seats are super comfy.

7. Dress comfortably

If you are flying at the end of your second trimester, your baby bump is big enough to make you uncomfortable to wear tight clothes. So, go for some loose clothes like one piece dress, Kurti with palazzo which is loose enough from your tummy area.

8. Stay hydrated

If you are pregnant, you already know how important it is for mums to be to keep their body hydrated all the time and if you are flying, it becomes even more important to drink a lot of fluid as at such a height your body gets dehydrated very fast. So, don’t depend upon the water that the airline serves you. Keep your own bottle with you and request them to keep on filling it for you as it gets empty. Don’t be shy. And that’s why aisle seat is a savior for you as more water intake means more toilet visits :D.

9. Keep something to eat

It can be sandwiches, snacks, paranthas, fruits or anything you like to eat because in the plane, they will give you the meal one or two times (depending on the duration of the flight) but if you are pregnant, you need to eat something every 2-3 hours. So, it’s better to keep yourself packed with all your favourite things to eat.

10. Hand sanitizer

A hand sanitizer will be very helpful and handy for you when you don’t want to go to toilet just to wash your hands or when their is a long queue at the toilet and you really want to eat your food. Just use your hand sanitizer and your hands are germ free ;)

11. Walk after some intervals

It is very important to keep on circulating blood into your body and you cannot do that by just sitting at your seat all the time. Try to walk in the plane every 30-45 minutes. Take help from the air hostess if you are not confident of walking alone like that. While sitting, keep on moving your legs time to time. This will really help you to have a comfortable flight.

12. Don’t hesitate to say something

It is not necessary that you will definitely get an aisle seat. Don’t worry if you get middle or a window seat. First, try to ask the passenger on the aisle seat if he/she can exchange the seat with you. If they agree, that’s great. But if they don’t, please don’t hesitate to ask them to move if you want to go to the toilet or for a walk. It’s for your baby.

These are some tips for all mums to be who are planning to fly during their pregnancy. Hope these tips will help you out and make your travel experience comfortable and easy :)
